I am offering: Beautiful remote eco lodge on the island of Pemba. Pemba Island is the sister to the more developed Zanzibar (Unguja) Island and lies 50 kms off the Tanzanian Coast. It is a lush, traditionally farmed island famed for its scented clove plantations and beautiful rolling hills. It has a strong indigenous culture which has yet to be exposed to commercial tourism. Most Pembans are farmers, fishermen and artisans – there is a rich history of story telling and a strong belief in magic and traditional medicines. Predominantly Muslim, the religious rituals and celebrations are followed and adhered to.
You can spend a beautiful holiday with us on Pemba Island. Activites include:
