- My Connection with Ecotourism
- Working in the improvement of livelihoods in rural Laos, I became interested in using tourism as a community development tool. This interest led eventually to the establishment of the Boat Landing Guest House (www.theboatlanding.com) and work with private sector companies in developing community-based tourism programs in rural villages ( Exotissimo, Green Discovery Laos). Later on I have worked with companies in Thailand to develop community based tourism experiences. Most recently I have worked with WWF on a feasibility assessment of community-based tourism in Thailand's Northeast.
