Topic : MSc Ecotourism

Hello and many thanks for taking the time to look at my resume.

I have a Masters in Ecotourism with a distinction for my dissertation which is being used to help raise awareness amongst Kenya's south coast tourism operators on the necessity of interpretation in relation to marine conservation issues. I have a background in recruitment, hotel and restaurant management and currently, managing a luxuary eco-camp in Kenya's remote Meru National Park. I have also been volunteering with the Local Ocean Trust and the Turtle Trust whenever I have time to write proposals and conduct research and have just completed a working document on the shoreline management strategies and current legislation on Kenya's beach and riparian areas which is an ever growing project. I have also recently been volunteering my time to Kenya's new ecotourism office which has recently been established on the south coast of Kenya by helping write project proposals for them.

I am looking for employment in ecotourism as my position in Meru is unstable due to a sharp decline in tourism to Kenya.

Please do drop me a line at harriet80@hotmail.com if you would be interested in discussing any opportunities with me.

Best regards,

Harriet

Subject :Looking for new opportunities in ecotoursim or wildlife organizations (worldwide)

Hi Everybody,

Over 12 years of living and working in Botswana, as well as extensive travelling, have revealed to me how fulfilling immersion in a different environment and culture can be. I am passionate about wildlife and I believe when tourism brings people together, it raises awareness and helps to protect still intact ecosystems.

With this in mind I am currently seeking an opportunity to connect to an organization which shares my desire to prevent the exploitation of our wonderful planet.

I see myself as an excellent addition to any team within tourism or conservation initiatives and encourage you to look over my attached CV to perceive how my many skills, determination and strong work ethic, have made a significant difference in every field of work I have contributed my energy to.

At the moment I am residing in Germany, but would be available immediately to relocate.

I welcome all offers for employment as well as any helpful suggestions.

Thank you very much for your interest and consideration.

Kind regards,

Conny Selzer

Hi,

My name is Allison Brant and I am just about to graduate in Sustainable Environmental Management. I have a particular interest in ecotourism however the degree has involved a wide range of areas including environmental management systems, freshwater environments, environmental economics plus many ecology based modules. My dissertation is involving the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and carbon footprinting the visitor travel to the major arts event. Plus comparing carbon calculators and assessing how accurate or at least see if there is a correlation between the carbon calculators to assess whether the information given to tourists are the same no matter what online calculator they use. My strengths lie in this field and I have experience in health and safety systems through my current work.

I am looking to gain experience in this field and build my career in any aspect of ecotourism.

Thanks,

Allison

Hello all,

I am spanish student just graduated in Tourism and looking for some experience in the ecotourism, I find myself very committed to the pursuit of social and environment welfare and justice and understand Tourism not only as a way to see the world but also as a way to change it, that is why I would like to focus my career in the green tourism. I also was born in a small island, isolated and fragile, that needs a precise development in ecotourism rather than mass tourism. I am very excited about future opportunities in the area of Ecotourism.

Although my experience in the Hotel Industry is quite wide, working in England and Spain hotels several times, my only experience in the eco-green Tourism is a 6-month internship in organics farms in Germany.. Because of my short experience in ecotourism, I wouldn’t mind doing a few months internship or a trial period that would provide me with the experience and knowledge necessary in order to focus my career in the Ecotourism. I have enclosed a copy of my resume.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Regards,

Romen
