The Centre is run by the municipality of Dadia, and it
is the best example of successful integration of tourism and
conservation in Greece as proceeds support both the local
community and the conservation of the Dadia Forest Reserve.

The Ecotourist Centre of Dadia, is an ideal base to explore the famed forest reserve of Dadia, one of the last refuges for predatory birds in Europe. It is home to 36 out of 38 Europe's predatory bird species ! The Lodge is built in the local architectural style, has 20 rooms all with shower, heating and telephone. Amenities include a Restaurant, Coffee-shop, an Information / Conference Centre co-managed by WWF and a shop with specialist books, souvenirs and local products.
