Hi,

I'm Tanya Dutt. I'm 26, now working in Cambodia at www.angkorbutterfly.com and teaching English part time.
I am avid wildlife enthusiast and enthusiasm apart, I am deeply connected to nature and I feel passionate to work towards improving my surroundings.

I also have a tribal-village handicrafts and artifact shop and cafe, 'Malaya' with my mum in Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve, India. The products help and uplift indigenous peoples while encouraging their talents. We promote bio-friendly products and true village handicrafts. If you like you can check us out on www.cafemalaya.com

My recent stint has been with Travel Another India and The Shola Trust, Gudalur, Tamil Nadu. I was hired as a consultant to conduct research and compile a feasibility report for the 5 tribes of the region regarding their capabilities to take over and run part of the Forest Guest Houses and Lodges in Mudhumalai Tiger Reserve on the recommendation of the Field Director. I was also required to gauge the financial viability of the project and assess USPs for the concept.

I am a keen traveler and have been traveling over a year now to destinations in and out of India for various assignments, projects and pleasure. I am used to living amongst villagers, tribals and in jungles.

Amongst other things I could be useful towards, a handy one is design. I'm a graphic designer by profession (4 years experience) and have been handling clients and communication for my projects independently. I have worked in teams, under seniors and have also had experience managing people. I gave up my city life and job to live in the jungle and now free lance on assignments for wildlife and tribals while helping my mum run our rural establishment.

There is absolutely nothing I'd put past me, for I have been on a student exchange to Japan and held a mobile sale venture for my shop for three months in Italy with International Federation for Agricultural Development – IFAD, UN’s sister concern.

Attached is my brief resume. Thanks.

Cheers, Tanya.
