A'alani Volcano Heart Hawaii was built with conservation in mind. The site was left with the natural landscaping of native Ohia trees and Tree ferns. It required a water catchment and we put in Compact Florescent lighting, natural cedar walls and lots of nice but recycled furniture. It is near the active Volcano National Park (within 5 miles) for Ranger led hikes, museums, and local art galleries. This area has many interesting features, such as orchid nurseries, bonsai nursery, golf course, winery, and hiking, Take the Mauna Kea Mountain tour with the memorial to local boy Onzuka (one of the men lost in the space accident).
