Meanwhile, the Open Directory got a new look, as Microsoft had acquired for one day the Open Directory (ODP) and changed its name to "GOD"-- the "Gates Open Directory" project!... @ One more airline, Delta Air Lines, the third-largest U.S. carrier, announced it would eliminate routine commissions paid to travel agents for tickets sold in the U.S. and Canada in a move to reduce costs, but also reflecting the effect of on-line direct ticket sales. @Two groups of researchers reported in the journal Science that they had a draft of the full DNA sequence of the rice plant - a staple for more than half the world's population.
