Other than the administrator of ECOCLUB S.A., you are the only person who has access to your personal information, with the exception of information you have chosen to display at ECOCLUB.com, and at your profile displayed therein. We recommend that you do not divulge your login details or any other sensitive information online. ECOCLUB S.A. will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited phone call or in an unsolicited email.

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, ECOCLUB S.A. cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or from our online services and vice versa, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems. We use various security measures to protect our website from spammers and hackers and most importantly no credit card information is stored in our server as all transactions are carried via PayPal.

How do ECOCLUB S.A. protect children's privacy

ECOCLUB S.A. operate a general audience tourism & travel website and as such does not ask anyone about their age. Members have to pay a Membership fee with a credit card (unless they are accepted by writing an article - which is unlikely for a minor due to the high standards required), and as such, minors may only join with the consent of their parents or next of kin. Minors should always ask a parent for permission before sending personal information to anyone online.

What else you should know about your online privacy

Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information online - for example in comments and pictures that you post or through email - that information is collected and used by others, including search robots, marketeers, data mining companies and security agencies. In short, if you post sensitive information online you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties and also be subject to many other dangers including identity theft.

Ultimately, you are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your passwords (always use a strong password with capital letters, numbers and special characters) and/or any account information. NEVER send your sensitive information by email, in particular credit card or bank account details, as these may be easily intercepted. Please be careful and responsible whenever you are online.
