I am an economist having over 10 years of experience in managing bigger international projects related to nature conservation. I am the project coordinator of Healthy Seas (http://healthyseas.org/) since it was established at the beginning of 2013. The initiative collects waste fishing nets with the help of divers and fishermen in order to create healthier seas and recycle marine litter into new textile products. I enjoy spending time at the sea, doing various water sports as well. I got so much nice experience there and want to give something back. Helping to keep the seas clean and healthy is one way to do it.

Work Experience
I studied Business and Tourism at universities in Hungary and Finland. I wrote my thesis in 2005 about “The role of ecotourism in raising the environmental awareness among the local communities – based on case studies from Hungary and Finland”. One year later I won the third prize award at “The thesis of the year in theme tourism” competition in the category of “Modern choice of subject” announced by the Hungarian National Tourist Office (HNTO) in Budapest, Hungary.
I worked as an assistant manager and gained experience in international ecotourism development and management while working for nature conservation in Hungary (Őrség National Park Directorate) and in Finland (Metsähallitus, Natural Heritage Services).
