  • Jobs/Opportunities sought:
I am seeking an opportunity to learn how sustainable and community-based ecotourism businesses work on all levels and how each level plays their part individually and work as a whole. A full-time opportunity would be preferable, but part-time or even a studentship would be acceptable.
  • Work Experience
My first experience with ecotourism began while filming endangered crocodiles in the Philippines. Hiking through the rain forest and living among indigenous communities transformed my view of life and is the inspiration for why I want to work in this industry. I believe ecotourism can influence and offer unique opportunities for communities like those I stayed with and positively change their lives as it did mine. To me, ecotourism provides a way to give back to these people and help them protect and conserve their natural resources all while benefiting them economically.
  • Services Offered
What I want to provide is someone who is hardworking, passionate, and dedicated to succeed in this field. I enjoy learning how a business operates by cross-training myself in all areas to become an efficient and vital team member wherever I may be. I'm a certified TEFL, and conservation education instructor, and have worked as a herpetologist at an AZA-accredited zoo. I've spent over a decade working with wildlife ranging from insects up to crocodiles. Helping others learn and succeed is my passion as I want them to grow and respect nature just as I do. I'm also a photographer and filmmaker by trade and hope to use these skills for advertisement and education. Currently, I am taking online business courses to enroll in my university's Master's of Business Administration program. I hold a B.Sc. in Environmental Science and am awaiting my post-baccalaureate degree in Digital Filmmaking.
