Description of Location: We are located inside Xe Pian natural protected area on the edge of Kiat Ngong wetlands (Included in the Ramsar convention), close to the village of Kiat Ngong. We are about 60 km far from Pakse (provincial capital and international airport) in a strategic position being possible to do daily singthseeing to the most known tourit sites in Champasak province. Distance in Km from nearest Beach, type of Beach (sandy, rocky etc) There are no beaches in Laos being a landlocked country.


Nearby Attractions (within 50 km): Phou Asa and the elephants village of Kiat Ngong. Wat Phou temple ruins (Unesco site) near Champasak town. Beung Kiat Ngong Wetlands (Ramsar Convention status, http://ramsar.wetlands.org/Database/Searchforsites/tabid/765/Default.aspx). We organize guided trekkings and activities with elephants in the nearby areas of the Xe Pian National Protected Area.


Best way to arrive at the property from abroad: by public transport and private transport Intercontinental flight to Bangkok. From Bangkok can either take a flight directly to Pakse or to the Thai city of Ubon Ratchathani. From there it is easy to hire a taxi service. From Pakse southern bus station there is one daily "public" transport to Kiat Ngong village near the lodge as well as from the village to Pakse. Easy to hire a private transport from Pakse or other locations in the province to reach our lodge and vice-versa. Lodge can arrange for guests as well.


Any other points: Possibility to extend the number of rooms and/or other buildings. Trained staff. In operation since 2006 with good reputation amongst tour operators (Europe, Usa, Australia), travel guides (Lonely Planet, Rough guide, Stephan Loose, La Guide du Routard and others) and Tripadvisor. Foreign Investor Licence from Laos government. Only lodge in the area to provide to medium/high budget tourists.

The owner is ready to assist the new proprietor on site for a maximum of 2 weeks and via correspondence for as long as it is needed.
