The airline announced that when booking flights, customers may choose from three options. The first option involves using "Sustainable Aviation Fuel" (SAF), a biofuel produced from "residual biogenic materials" which, the airline claims, have lower CO2 emissions. The second option uses "high quality carbon offset projects" administered by myclimate, while the third option is a combination of the first two. The options will be also offered later in the year by Austrian Airlines, Brussels Airlines and Swiss.
