Greece's Highest Administrative Court has cancelled a 2014 ministerial decision to transfer valuable coastal land and public beaches in the southern part of the Athens Riviera from the Saronikos Municipality to ETAD, a public real estate management and privatisation vehicle. Mayor Petros Philippou was jubilant.
