Ten years after the large, building materials factory went bust and was recuperated by its workers switching production to eco-detergents, BIOME has been forced by the new property owners to move to a smaller adjacent property where they hope to continue their, now famous, worker self-directed entreprise. In April 2023 around 20,000 people came to the recuperated factory for a music event celebrating BIOME's 10th anniversary.
