Oman's Environment Authority has partnered with Germany's Succow Stiftung to assess Jabal al Akhdar (Green Mountain) and the Jabal Samhan Nature Reserve, home to the critically endangered Arabian leopard, as prospective biosphere reserves also looking into their sustainable tourism development potential.
