The scheme, according to an MOU between the Forestry Department and Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam, will initially cover 34 national parks, with domestic and international tourists being able to obtain the passport in either paper or electronic format. Passport holders will receive rewards and discounts when they visit these national parks with the aim being to establish a sustainable financial mechanism for national parks and nature reserves.
