Caroline Lucas, Green party MP said "this is a shopping list, not a plan to address the climate emergency, and it commits only a fraction of the necessary resources." Shadow Business Secretary Ed Miliband remarked that the plan is "nowhere near the scale of what is required". Greenpeace and the National Trust have mixed feelings while the Confederation of British Industries welcomed the plan.
