Norway: Court allows mining company to dump waste in fjord

Description

Friends of the Earth Norway have lost a 15-year court case to Nordic Mining who will now be able to dump 170 tons of garnet waste in Førde fjord, an important breeding ground for cod and a migration route for salmon, in a traditional district 110 km north of Bergen.
