Over 1,000 hotel workers, members of Unite Here, are on a three day strike, during the busy Labor Day weekend, in Boston and Greenwich, Conn while and more cities (Baltimore, Honolulu, Kauai, New Haven, Oakland, Providence, San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, and Seattle) could soon announce strikes after months of unresolved negotiations. Unite Here, a major hospitality industry union, are pushing for higher wages and to overturn pandemic-era staff cuts.
