A luxury 50-room resort is to be developed on Aves Island by Andaman and Nicobar Islands Integrated Development Corporation Limited (ANIIDCO), an organization whose mandate is the "rapid economic growth of the Islands". Why should one more pristine, uninhabited island be developed, you may be asking?
