Six traditional double room stilt wooden bungalows with spacious verandas and four wood & bamboo eco rooms bordering a wetland in Champasak province. Traditional building materials and workmanship have been blended with modern concepts and architecture. Lighting is supplied by a mix of solar system and grid. Open two storey restaurant serves mainly organic Lao and western dishes and affords great views over the wetland. Activities include elephant rides, hikes and trekking through the forest, around wetland and to nearby villages. Revenues from the activities supports a village fund set up by the ecolodge, owned & managed by Bangon (On) and her husband Massimo from Italy.
