Hello there,
I'm Hoa, i work for an Ecolodge in the north of Vietnam. Ecolodge is a very new idea and concept in Vietnam and there's still lots of work to do but i really get confused sometimes of what should we do or we do a right thing?
Then I am looking for a case study of successful hospitality companies that are specialized in Ecolodge in Vietnam what I can learn from.
Does anyone know or have a good example, please share with me.
Thank you so much for your consideration!
Thanh Hoa

Hello Hoa,
I definitely would like to see more work done in Vietnam. The first one that I found is a examination of Halong Bay. Sustainable aesthetics: perspectives from ecotourism design & Floating Bamboo Ecolodge in Halong Bay, Vietnam by Pham, Tue Duc.
Secondly, this is not exactly an ecolodge case study but it does have relevant outcomes. "Importance‚ÄźPerformance and Segmentation: An Application at a Biosphere Reserve in Vietnam" by Vaske, Jerry.
I think at this point you may need to expand your search criteria.
If so, "Sustainable Hospitality and Tourism as Motors for Development : Case Studies from Developing Regions of the World" by Legrand, Willy could be a great start. Vietnam is definitely a different destination than most but I would focus more on Southeast Asia and China, which the Legrand focuses on. But also look at "The Wenhai Ecolodge: A Case Study of Culture and Environment in Southwest China" by Keough, Sara Beth.
One of the most important aspects to pay attention to is the UN Millenium Goals and the upcoming 2030 Goals which should be released soon.

Let me know if you find anymore!

Thank you so much Antonis Petropoulos for such a huge amount of information you've found for me!
I have no ideal there are many Ecolodges in Vietnam (except Topas) until You showed them out on your list. Examples of good practice are always a good guide!

Matthew, Thank you so much for your help! I've found many good examples on the Pham's thesis and I think it will be very helpful for me to understand more clearly of Ecolodge model when I dig into the details.
