I am thrilled to share that the 2026 Regenerative Tourism Guide is available from today and that my work's findings from many years of developing practical regenerative models are part of this robust and multidisciplinary volume.
The chapter 29 in Part III. Systems and Design – Building Regenerative Models talks about our pioneering work that began in the late 1990s. It presents the origination of a unique regenerative thinking, models and strategies for urban development, climate action and renewal of nature, sustainable economy and community from the European perspective.
This is only a snapshot of the community-based work, we named: the Regeneration Programme for London, which broke the ground in the capital in 2004 and was then widely promoted in the US and at climate conferences. The work's numerous elements are powering Green(er) London as you are reading this.
My chapter delves into some ins and outs of the Programme while analysing the shortcomings of the works' application and I continue this conversation in my upcoming Regeneration book.
