Striking airport workers in Paris, London, Manchester, Barcelona, Malaga, Mallorca, industrial action in low cost airlines EasyJet and Ryanair and strike threats in other major airlines like SAS have led to flight cancellations across the continent. Unions, still strong after decades of neoliberalism and deregulation, are putting pressure for better pay and working conditions across the Travel and Tourism sector and will hopefully succeed. But it seems bosses still do not get it, with Ryanair's Michael O'Leary blaming 'Brexit' and the inability "to bring in European workers"...
