Description

Six UN special rapporteurs are concerned about the environmental and social impacts of the US $8 bn railroad project on indigenous communities in Chiapas, Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatán and Quintana Roo. The 1,500 km project, inaugurated in June 2020, is due to be completed by October 2022.
