I have recently completed an MSc at King's College London with a focus on sustainable development issues, policy frameworks, and tourism development. The course has allowed me to further my interest in the relationship between foreign tourism and local development, exploring the power dynamics between the ‘guest’ and the ‘host’. As a conclusion to my course, I undertook a research project analysing the effectiveness of community-based tourism at combatting dispossession related to tourism. In addition, I have recently completed a short-term internship role analysing community engagement strategies within the build-to-rent sector. I have a passion for developing resilient, conscious, and responsible communities, seeking work within projects that share similar goals.
