Key Materials of Construction: Wood, bamboo, concrete. We used as many local materials as possible in our rooms and decorations. Artists from around the world painted stunning murals.

Eco-Architectural Features: Accommodations are built with ecological and permaculture practices in mind. From comfortable garden-enclosed shared rooms to airy lake view suites, the accommodation here is eco-friendly and designed for relaxation and an artsy feel.

The retreat center offers three types of rooms: private rooms with ensuite bathrooms, private rooms with shared bathrooms, and dormitory rooms with shared bathrooms. Bathrooms have solar systems. We created massive septic tanks with food forests to allow clients to have flush toilets while keeping eco and sustainability in mind.

Energy Sources & Energy-Saving Features: The place is built on permaculture principles, prioritizing blending in nature. Natural materials are combined with new technology, with vegetation and gardens surrounding every corner, a vibrant river, and dramatic views. We grow coffee, along avocado and other fruit trees. Solar system and 4 septic systems to support a growing business.

Water Sources & Water-Saving Features: Municipality water comes from a spring up the hill, and garden water comes from the river that runs through the property. All water systems are sustainable. We process all our black water in our eco septic tanks that convert them to grey water. We then run this water through natural gravel filters and finally through an intricate system of underwater drip system, it is spread through our food forest, where it supports the growth of our trees.

We have a mini farm with many trees, and over 35 varieties of herbs and vegetables that rotate in our gardens. Our gardens are close to the kitchen and all around the property making it easy to access, maintain and harvest. We serve herbal tea, always from our garden, and the coffee we grow and process 100% by hand on our land.

Waste-Management Facilities:
We run on almost zero-waste system. It's a permaculture based center, we do create our own compost.
