The SMART (Saving Money and Resources Today) Schools challenge encourages Montana public schools to save money and resources through recycling, energy conservation, and other green practices. As an educator, I work in participating schools giving presentations to students on how and why to recycle, how and why to save energy, and various green practices (upcycling, planting gardens, composting, eating local produce, etc.). This position involves scheduling and coordinating presentations all across Montana, creating and delivering tailored presentations, and follow-up with schools on their needs. This is an Americorps position.
