I started my activity in the field of ecotourism in 2006 when, together with a friend and colleague we established Eco Transilvania Ltd. - a little company running ecotourism trips in the Western Carpathians. The company continued the activity of a responsible tourism programme - named Apuseni Experience - that was developed with the aim to use responsible tourism as a tool for the sustainable development of mountain communities in the Western Carpathians.
In 2007 I completed my training course as a local ecotourism guide in Western Carpathians. Further on I got my license as a local guide.
Since then I worked as a product manager & tour leader designing and running responsible tourism trips in the Western Carpathians. I am also specialized in designing ecotourism projects for and working with mountain communities from Western Carpathians and have a good understanding of their specific way of life and challenges.
Deeply interested in the field of ecotourism and sustainable development. Also outdoor life, trekking, skiing, wild life watching, mountain culture and traditions, mountain communities.

Work Experience
Experience as product manager - ecotourism programmes in Western Carpathians. The trips - standard ones as well as tailor made - are adressed to various groups, from solo travellers to small&medium sized groups, families with children as well, from 1 day up to 14 days. The trips include cultural and natural elements with focus on the centuries old relation between the local communities and the specific landscape they live in.
