  • Work Experience
As the General Manager of the the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), I live the GSTC’s mission to increase sustainable tourism knowledge and practices among public and private stakeholders, while acting as the international accreditation body for setting the standards for sustainability in travel and tourism. I do so as part of dedicated staff and volunteers throughout the world, to grow and improve the GSTC, and thus grow and improve adherence to the sustainable tourism standards set by the GSTC.

I strive for more happiness in the world, a goal larger than my own personal life, making a difference in the lives of people, through hard work and humbleness. It guides me in my work-life and when interacting with people, benefiting all. Either by my work I have done in interfaith dialogue, empowerment of asylum-seekers, or by my passion for green economy and sustainable tourism. Little steps can be made to lead us together into a better and more sustainable world.
