Another side-effect of the ecocidal, exploitative 'fast fashion' industry, the ever growing pile of discarded, unworn, non-biodegradable clothes, has reached gigantic proportions, a mile from the poor neighborhoods of the port city of Iquique. What can Chile's progressive government do about it? Action on a global scale is needed against this waste, one more example that 'the market' cannot self-regulate.
