Description
In a survey by TheVacationer.com, 6.8% of respondents (US adults) said that 'Sustainability and Carbon Footprint' are the most important factors when booking travel, up from 4.4% in 2021. In terms of how much they would be willing to spend on a vacation in order to lower its carbon footprint, nearly 22% (were honest enough to) say that they are not willing to spend anything. while 33% would spend up to USD 50 and another 33% up to USD 250. In total 1,096 Americans over the age of 18 were polled online on March 1, 2022. The survey had a margin of error of +/- 3%. The sample was chosen according to SurveyMonkey's polling methodology.
