In our new post corona world the concept of tourism is changing. With some forms of travel restrictions looking likely to continue for the foreseeable future, and with our instinctive desire to travel and take holidays, community tourism and staycation breaks are set to boom in the months ahead, as people look to more local solutions without the need to traverse the planet.

For this change to succeed it is vital that such programmes are introduced carefully, to ensure that all stakeholders derive benefits and not damage.

As a multi award winning eco lodge we are proud to have been involved in community tourism for 20 years, and to have received global recognition for our work.

The beauty of good eco and community tourism is that once a few basic principals are understood, it is simple and replicable almost anywhere.

But if introduced without the inclusion of all stakeholders then actually immense damage can be inflicted on communities and cultures around the world.

For almost 20 years, 3 Rivers & Rosalie forest eco lodge have been offering successful examples, training and advice on the
smooth introduction of fascinating community tourism projects around the world, whilst respecting cultures and creating exciting and interesting activities for visitors, aiming at creating authentic experiences for visitors, and much needed income to individuals and communities.

With this and our new world in mind, as well as continuing to offer our onsite and on location courses, we are now offering tailor made online classes and consultancy on establishing community tourism projects to suit the hotels', hotel staff, host's, and visitors needs, all in one.

For more information visit the 3 Rivers eco lodge founder's website on https://www.jemwinston.com or contact us to organise a tailor made course that will work for you and lead to the long term sustainability of your tourism product.

If the industry moves with both the corona and climate changing times, we will successfully navigate through these challenging times.
