Mr Sunil Shakya reports from Nepal that his organisations' ECOCLUB.com Awards 2010-recipient project which involves the creation of a community-owned visitors resource centre for Ecotourism is on schedule. So far an approval from the Social Welfare Council (SWC) of Nepal was obtained, an inception meeting was successfully conducted in Ingla, Jamuna (the project site) with the full participation of the community and ten days later at a separate meeting the exact boundaries of a protection zone for the red panda were agreed based on the input and views of the community members. On completion the organisers, Red Panda Network, will receive a grant of Euros 2,000 to cover all expenses.
