Netherlands: Schiphol airport caps flights to reduce pollution

Description

Europe's third largest airport will limit annual flights to a level 11% lower than 2019 to help reduce noise and nitrogen oxide pollution. The Dutch government decision was welcomed by Greenpeace and criticised by the European Aviation Association (ACI Europe) and IATA.
