Returning travellers can now avoid quarantine hotels by wearing an electronic bracelet and self-isolating at home. The punishment for violating the rules is a fine of NIS 5,000 ($1,500). Children under 14 are exempt. The bracelet only monitors location and is not meant to track people beyond their home. In other developments Wizz Air has announced new direct flights from Tel Aviv to the Greek islands of Rhodes, Crete (Herakleion) and Santorini while Greece announced that it will welcome up to 10,000 vaccinated Israelis each week, starting from 23 March 2021.
