Saturday, March 20, 2021. Trekking from Chitral town to Drosh: I had a very refreshing trek of 47 kilometers from Chitral town to Drosh. Started at 5:47am from Chitral town and traveled through Orghooch side. By 9:49 reached the Attani Viewpoint from where took some very good pictures of the beautiful Broz and Ayun villages along with Attani.

Descended into the Ayun village from Attani side and had an early lunch at Ayun. Continued a leisurely journey across Maskoor and reached Benisar, the gateway to Birir, the southernmost settlement of the Kalasha community. Traveled through Shedi and a gentleman on the roadside took me to his house for tea. Walked across the rock along the river to reach Kol village, opposite Kesu, and continued traveling down to Khairabad. Here crossed onto Drosh side across the river through the newly-built jeepable bridge. Reached Drosh by 6:22 pm, after 11 hours trekking.
